Sara is Co-founder/Director of Operations as well as a contributor to the Lightbox Leadership blog. Sara’s articles revolve around leadership and learning opportunities she sees in her day-to-day interactions, as she believes leadership is a choice not a position you are given at work.
Sara has 16 plus years of business experience, having spent the majority of her career as an Investment Manager and Performance Analyst in corporate financial and asset management firms. The common thread throughout her career has been her dedication to operational and systems excellence to deliver high quality internal and external customer engagements. She has received special praise, awards and recognition for consistently demonstrating leadership in non-managerial positions.

Education, Training & Certifications
Sara has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Finance from the University of South Dakota and an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design, from Harrington College of Design. Sara is a LEED AP holder and helps keep sustainability at the forefront of our business decisions. She is committed to growing and learning across a wide variety of topics on a daily basis and applying this knowledge to continually push our organization forward.
