Lightbox Leadership, LLC is a Denver, CO based leadership development firm. As the Co-founder and Managing Director for Lightbox Leadership it is my goal to coach other professionals with the utmost of integrity and ethics to help them gain deeper wisdom and insights to achieve their highest potential. To help others the way coaching has helped me.
I am an ICF certified coach having graduated with a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. Georgetown is one of the top leadership coaching programs with a strong focus on academic rigor and practice. This gives me a finite and unique, highly qualified skill set that can assist you on your journey towards greatness.
I first found my love for coaching when I retained a leadership coach as a young IT manager in a start up electronic trading company to help me develop my management and leadership skills. I was fairly technically proficient and charged with leading a growing team of technology professionals. One problem, I had never managed or led anyone. Coaching was essentially a practice in self-discovery and self-awareness that helped me develop my innate tools of leadership and management.
After about a year, I found my career and skills were being transformed to produce a higher quality than ever before, both professionally and personally. From here I was completely juiced, amazed and let’s say addicted to the gifts and strengths that coaching provided.
At this point I had to know more. How did the coaching process work on a much deeper level? How could I use the same tools on my team to help them improve and perform optimally? I decided to apply for the Leadership Coaching program at Georgetown University in Virginia. After a challenging application and some anxious waiting, I was accepted. Shortly after completing this rigorous program, I soon realized my true talent was not as a fairly proficient techie, but as a highly proficient and skilled leadership coach.
After 15 years of technology and management roles with start up companies, including my longest tenure as Director of Infrastructure for one of the fastest growing electronic trading firms in the country, I decided it was time to start my own company, Lightbox Leadership.
